Black Lace Lingerie and Ready-to-Wear: Inspiration Divine by SCANDALE

Black lace lingerie, the delicacy of spot tulle, a hint of Italian heritage: nothing more was needed for the magnetic figure of the Madonna to emerge. A cult collection by SCANDALE, Inspiration Divine returns for a third act, expanding into ready-to-wear, accessories and objects of desire. With lingerie at its heart, the Madonna now dresses from head to toe, from day into night. Tinged with melancholy, elevated by an elegance that lends nobility to everything it touches, the collection stirs an intense emotion, one that eludes us as much as it holds us captive.

Inspiration Divine: A Black Lace Lingerie Collection

Inspiration Divine draws inspiration from an imagined Italy, a world of Madonnas, frescoes and sacred gold. The baroque lace that defines each piece carries the memory of this world: arabesques woven in deepest black, sheer fabrics crafted like chiaroscuro, where skin is glimpsed but never fully revealed. Spot tulle brings a distinctive softness. Its delicate raised motifs against a weightless veil create a texture in its own right, where touch comes before sight. Hand-finished lace trims trace the contours of the body. A gold cross-shaped fastening ultimately unites the spiritual and the physical, a symbol of a feeling that transcends time.

From Intimate Lingerie to Lace Ready-to-Wear

With Opus III, lace moves beyond the intimate. It becomes a dress or falls as a cape over a short dress, conjuring the image of a widow on the run. A black jacket bears a red cross embroidered across the back, revealing the corsetry beneath, while a delicate face veil accompanies daytime dressing. The boundary between what is worn underneath and what is revealed begins to dissolve.

The Iconic Pieces of the Inspiration Divine Collection

The sheer lace thong bodysuit emerges as the collection's signature piece: a plunging lace bodysuit revealed beneath an unbuttonable sheer veil, with an engraved cross as its only adornment. The spot tulle thong bodysuit with suspenders continues this story with its detachable cross-shaped suspender straps. The shirt-style bodysuit, with gold-buttoned cuffs, allows spot tulle to subtly disrupt the transparency. A scarf bra, briefs, an openable thong and a mini thong complete the lingerie set. The basque, waist cincher and suspender skirt sculpt proportions with the precision of a single line. Transformed into jewellery, the gold cross adorns the bustier harness, garters and sock suspenders. Gloves, a delicate face veil and fishnet complete the silhouette, while objects of desire extend the Madonna's rituals.

How to Style Inspiration Divine?

One simple principle: let the fabric guide your choices. By day, the lace dress stands alone, with a delicate face veil as its only adornment. Lingerie can also take centre stage: a bodysuit or a piece of corsetry beneath the embroidered jacket.

By night, a single statement piece is enough to command attention: the sheer lace thong bodysuit, or high-waisted briefs paired with the harness. For a complete lingerie ensemble, the scarf bra can be paired with the openable thong or briefs, the waist cincher defines the waist, and gloves introduce an interplay of transparency.

Worn together, baroque lace and spot tulle create a dialogue of textures, each fabric responding to the other: a sheer panel calls for embroidery, one raised detail awakens another. Every combination can be adapted to the desire to make a statement or merely suggest, to reveal or hold something back.

To explore other expressions of black lace lingerie, SCANDALE's lace lingerie collection offers more understated interpretations, where the delicacy of the motifs takes precedence over baroque theatricality. The Ligne Confidentielle, meanwhile, invites a more discreet, intimate expression of sensuality.
